Who we are
We are people who care about health in our area. We are patients, doctors, nurses, teachers, parents, carers and community members. We are ordinary people who have an extraordinary say over shaping local health. In short, we are the future of healthcare in Luton and Dunstable. Join us and you can be part of it.
Our purpose
We want what you want – to have the best level of care available to everyone in Luton and Dunstable. With your support, we’ll be one step closer to making that happen – the more members we have, the more say we’ll have over the future of local healthcare.
What you can do
Choose to become a member and you can play an important part in everyone’s future. You can take part in debates and discussions about key developments in local health. You can highlight areas of care you feel passionate about and help to make them bigger and better than ever.
Most importantly, you can take care of your health and the health of everyone in your area.
As a member you’ll also:
- Receive newsletters and updates about the hospital’s activities
- Have direct access to members of the Council of Governors, to raise concerns and other issues
- Receive invitations to members’ meetings and Governors’ forums
- Be able to elect Governors
- Be eligible to stand for election as a Governor
Your influence
Become a member of LDH Trust and you'll be able to speak up about the health services and treatments you want to see in this area - and then shape their development. With more members like you, we’ll have more power to influence real developments, specialist care and better quality care throughout the area. We want the future of local healthcare to be in the best possible hands – those of local people.
